It Has Been Written

It Has Been Written is an epic sci-fi adventure comic written by Shane Itram and Jean-Marc Nabin between 2013 and 2017. Much of the humor derives from the storyline having been improvised as it went along. Shane drew the odd-numbered panels and Jean-Marc drew the even-numbered ones. Upon finishing a panel, one of the co-authors would send to the other co-author the original GIMP file (to preserve stylistic consistency) with no further direction as to where the story ought to go next. The comic was left unfinished at 95 panels when Jean-Marc withdrew from the project to attend to personal matters. References to real-life events and landmarks establish the story as having occurred in the year 2014.
